Looking into Animations:
Looking into Animations:
The point of these animation is that they all contain the same script but are animated and used different techniques to create unique creative scenes this can be done through the use of light ,movement and stage present
When looking into this certain animation I took into consideration aspects such as the focus of the main character which is based in the spot light and how he is the one with the script and involves most the action but also to keep the animation interesting they considered to animate the background characters too but making sure that the main character is in focus by using lighting, also having the main character contain the most amount of movement
Arcs, lines of action:
In most animations the use of arcs within the actual poses expresses the mood and emotion of the character and the feel of the actual clip. it clearly shows the exaggerated expressions that are used within cartoons, Arcs and lines of action are made in one smooth stroke wether its straight or curved and cannot be too rigid or sharp as this isn't a natural based line

Despicable me:

Looking into the style of animation in the company ' Pixar' focusing on the certain film called despicable me the actual way of animation is very wobbly and loose allowing a lot of jiggle and free movement throughout the poses which overall create a very friendly child like feel to their animations which don't really follow realism and closer represents a cartoony feel, overall the actual look works well and is very successful.
Monsters inc.

Disney focuses on a lot on realism within its animations and has a lot of smooth well rounded animations and isn't as wobbly or loose as it is far more structured when comparing it into disney even so both focus closely on lines of actions and show emotions clearly. This too is a very successful animation even if the style of the actual animation is visually different it still attracts both younger and older generations and overall is a successful company
Pocoyo

This animation is a lot simpler and has extremely rough and rigid animations that are not as successful as the two previous ones simply because it doesn't look very smooth and overall well structured, its very basic although it does express animations extremely well and seems to mainly focus on that.

Final model:

When creating this model I Worked with a ready made human rig that allowed me to play around with all the movement mainly by rotating certain areas to create clear expressions in my models which in this case i created a sad feel to it and modelled every aspect of the human body to really create a set emotion for my model

Model
Happiness
Happiness

When originally created a model that expresses 'happiness' and follows the basic rule or arcs creating a somewhat curved figure that allows the player to genuinely know that it is a happy figure which is shown in the shadow figure as it doesn't allow the person to base the pose n the expression which shows tat the actual pose is successful even though i could exaggerate it highly and create a more rounded curve which would create a far more cartoony feel to the actual model.
Head turn:
When animating the head turn I made sure that the actual head turn was not just an straight turn to the side but a rather more rounded curve that went down and back up again to incorporate the use of arcs and create a realistic fluid motion to the simplistic animation. Which overall made a very successful head turn because of the use of arcs shown in realistic animations such as disney.

Evaluation:
Evaluating my final project i noticed certain aspects that I would have to improve thoroughly to create a smoother high quality animation in which this would include focusing a lot more on the facial expressions as right now the only facial movements consist of blinking and a basic mouth movement which both could still be improved as the blinking seems to be slower and faster in certain aspects of the animation, around half way through there is a very rigid part where the position of my character move quicker not allowing the animation to run smoothly, this can easily be fixed with dragging out the key frames to allow more time in between the physical poses.
Overall my actual animation is good as it flows with the sound clip and shows to some extent a clear view of what the actual animation is trying to present.
